Eurasier
history
Eurasier is a breed of dog bred in Germany by a small group
of enthusiasts. It all started with the fact that two friends - dog lovers,
decided to create a new breed, in order to highlight the best qualities of
dogs Wolfspitz and Chow Chow. They attracted several like-minded
people, and in 1960 their breeding program was launched.
What breeds make up a Eurasier?
The breed was interbred, respectively, chow chow and wolf pizza, and the resulting crossing was first called "wolf-chow".
Changes that led to the change in the name of the
breed occurred in 1973. Then it was decided to add to the existing
breed Sahida.
After the first individuals were received, and the
experiment was considered successful, the name was changed to
"Eurasier" - it exists to this day. Currently, there are. Currently,
there are a number of unscrupulous breeders who give out dogs, obtained from
crossing Keeshonds and chow-chow, for Eurasians. However, every thoroughbred Eurasier is usually certified by the International Eurasier Breeding Federation
(IFE). It also includes three German clubs of the breed.
