Welsh Corgi Pembroke
history
The breed of Pembroke Welsh Corgi dogs is expensive and
rare and is appreciated by dog lovers all over the world. Like their fellow
breeds Welsh Corgi Cardigan, Pembrokes evolved and formed in England.
There is a legend that points to the otherworldly, fabulous origin of these
dogs. Well, this funny fairy tale sounds like this:
one evening, the children (brother and sister) were
returning home from a walk and saw two small foxes-like animals in a clear
field. Coming closer, they considered that they were not foxes, but small dogs,
or rather puppies. They took the adorable babies in their arms and took them
home. Puppies were distinguished by the unusual color of wool, short legs, funny
standing ears, and marks on the back. Then my father and mother explained that
these are not simple puppies and that they left them in the field of fairies.
According to the parents, the fairies used these animals to drag their
carriages in the night sky, and sometimes set the saddle right on the back of
the animal, from which there were marks.
Of course, this is only a legend, a fairy tale, but there is
also an official story that says that this breed appeared in England after a
visit to the Vikings. The Vallhund, or Swedish cattle dog, was brought by the
Vikings to Wales around the 9th century, and most experts believe that the
Vallhund was the ancestor of the Welsh Corgi. But there are opinions that claim
that the breed originated from dogs imported by Flemish weavers.
Now no one uses this breed to herd sheep - given the cost of
one dog, it would be a huge luxury. Or each of the sheep should have a golden
fleece instead of ordinary wool. The breed enjoys the favor of the family of
the English queen Elizabeth - Her Majesty is a fan of these cute pets.

description
Pembroke dog is the smallest of the yank Kennel Club's
Bos taurus dog cluster. Their hair will have a fawn, bright red or sable color,
typically with white marks on the limbs, and throughout the body together with
the snout. Moreover, the reminder these colors dissent from the quality
"dog". the pinnacle of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi is comparable to the
pinnacle of a fox, the ears are standing, longer than the typical. The tail is
brief, broken - this, by the way, is the main distinction from the guy
breed dog Cardigan. The limbs are short; the physique is robust.
personality
Welsh Corgi Pembroke - dog cheerful, friendly, has a high
level of energy and is ready at any time to go in search of adventure. Due to
their small size, these pets feel great in the city apartments, however, the best place for them - is a private house, where there is its own garden and the
opportunity to walk on the green lawns in the area.
Welsh Corgi Pembroke has a cheerful disposition - he
certainly does not have to be bored. He typically likes to be in the
spotlight and amuse himself along with his funny antics. additionally, a separate
feature is the presence of a range of shades in their voices - these dogs
categorize a large number of their emotions during this method.
Despite the open, good-natured nature of the Welsh Corgi can
be quite independent, they like to understand the meaning and make decisions because they are very intelligent and savvy animals. This also directly affects
the methods of education and training that are required of the host to achieve
the greatest success.
This breed needs a lot of walking, loves activity, various
games, and outdoor entertainment. They perfectly perceive children and love various
games and entertainment with them. Other pets are perceived normally if they do
not see aggression on their part.
Strangers are treated well, without rejection or
unreasonable aggression, but only if they do not perform a watchman's function.
Yes, you have not heard, Welsh-corgi can really be wonderful guard dogs,
because they bark very loudly and are able to raise the alarm on any occasion,
and sometimes even without.
Accordingly, if they realize themselves in this capacity and
see a stranger who is trying to climb over the fence, the rest will not be the
whole neighborhood. What's more, the dog can even try to stop the intruder
despite its modest size. In fact, this function is rarely used, because the
breed is expensive and refers more to the elite. Rather, this dog is a perfect
companion for any family or single owner, no matter.
teaching
The breed of Pembroke Welsh Corgi dogs can be trained by
different teams because they have excellent intelligence. Of course, basic
commands must be mastered without fail, but you can not limit yourself.
It is important in the learning process not to put pressure
on your pet, at least if it is not particularly necessary. And then, the
pressure should be more soft than rude. Corgis do not perceive aggressive and
inadequate hosts. You need to have a great sense of humor and arm yourself with
patience. By the way, since these pets love to eat, motivating them with
goodies - is a good idea.
care
The wool of the corgi breed should be combed once or twice a
week, and enough is enough. Always make sure that the dog's ears are clean, as
because of their size they tend to accumulate a large amount of dust,
especially during walks. But it should be done carefully, as their ears are a very sensitive part of the body.
Eyes from sediment should be cleaned daily. The claws are
trimmed three times a month and bathe the dog at least once a week. Keep in mind
that Pembroke Welsh Corgi dogs love to eat and will be happy to overeat, and
therefore prone to obesity. Keep an eye on your pet's diet to avoid it.
